Under the influence of centrifugal force, solid phase particles are pushed to the internal wall of the drum, then to the mud export of the small end of the drum and excreted. But the fluids is excreted from the overflow hole of the large end. Such cycle is in order to achieve the purpose of continuous separation.High speed decanting centrifuge is effective for separation .
The decanter centrifuge is installed on top of a relatively taller mud tank. The drilling mud from bore hole flows through shale shaker, desander, desilter and was transfer to the decanter centrifuge to remove the find solids particles in it. The mud after the treatment of the decanter centrifuge are considered to be clean and can be reused back to the drilling hole.
Drilling fluid Centrifuge work principle
Decanting centrifuge key part is screw, conveyor and transmission. When centrifuge work, drilling fluid will flow into centrifuge through drilling fluid input. Then the roll bowl will increase speed and fluid will flow into centrifuge through one fixed input pipe. Since rolling bowl rotate at rather high speed.
